It is already 18 years (!) since Martial DENÊTRE started managing the Alliance Pornic Resort Hotel Thalasso & Spa. A real specialist of the hotel trade and well-being sector, he was able to develop the site into a Spa with an avant-garde angle whilst preserving the authenticity of the Thalasso space. Discover an unusual hotelier who likes to be different.
A model: The Espace Beauté Spa
Having already created the event of 2006 with the opening of his Espace Massage/Modelling with 9 cabins and his Espace Beauté Spa with its 6 cabins by the architect designer Hugues d’Achon, Alliance Pornic is again innovating this year in the well-being sector with the inauguration of 4 new “Luxury Spa” cabins. Inspired by Zen and Feng Shui, these cabins are each 25 m² large and open onto a delightful individual Japanese garden. Their large bay windows can be opened so that the client can benefit from the fresh outside air during the treatment session whilst remaining completely private. These cabins are the domain of two talented therapists to whom Martial Denêtre, who likes to be different, gave carte blanche to create a space reserved for alternative therapies, resulting in a reference of its type, as much for the quality of treatments administered as for the authenticity of the concept.
“Martial Denêtre, who likes to be different, gave carte blanche
for the creation of a space reserved for alternative therapies”
”There is always creative logic at the base of things together with collective work and of course the medical blessing, so that the procedures are suited to the human body as well as the new demand for the well-being of the clients” explains Mr. Denêtre, who likes to combine authenticity, life skills and know-how. This is why Laëtitia went to India for her training in ayurvedic medicine and got her diploma at the European Institute of Vedic Studies whose training is the only one recognised in France by the Indian government. She administers treatments complying with the rules of the art, especially the Shirodara, more than perfectly mastered! As for Patrick, whom Martial Denêtre first met 6 years ago, his concept was not yet ready at the time, but then the two men met again a few months ago. The chemistry between them resulted in the creation of Zen d’Ô (Zen of Water), the undulating massage in an aquatic environment for a journey to the inner self. Totally unrelated to Watsu, Zen d’Ô is a real passage to disconnection. That sensory aquatic sound associated with the sound of a Tibetan bowl, sometimes with a voice, leads to improved circulation of the vital energy whilst at the same time encouraging calmness, thereby allowing one to attentively listen to one’s own being. This treatment is followed by a Kansu massage which allows one to find get a foothold again, re-establish roots with the earth and to descend from a potential floating sensation. To finish with, an organic herbal tea provides a period of refreshing rest to bring this exceptional experience to an end, leaving you in a state of “grace”!
