It is Anne Fontaine Spa boutique created in partnership with Andrée Putman. A story of women

Anne Fontaine is a company but it is also a name... and especially a soul. Soul of a creator who imagines 500 white shirts every season and, as this fact proves, she does not lack imagination. After a first partnership with Andrée Putman for launching a boutique in Tokyo, the challenge for this first Spa boutique was to translate the strong brand identity and the identity of its creator in a place that combines two areas that are so diametrically opposed, at least as far as appearances are concerned, and to realise the ideas in this field; a big challenge! "For me, combining a boutique and Spa at the same place was an evidence. They are created one inside the other both continuously serving the feminine beauty. Outside with my creations and inside with Spa," Anne states. The pair fell upon water as a unifying concept.
Anne Fontaine wished to present all the facets of her universe through this Spa boutique concept. Her thirst for nature drawn from her youth that she passed in Brazil and her stay in an Amazonian tribe that initiated her according to their customs moves her along with her passion for natural materials and their virtues. This idea of feeling well is at the heart of the search of the creator who managed to emphasize the simplicity in sophistication in her models while using new fabrics. This is another facet of Anne who is a woman full of surprises.
It is this same élan that makes her dream of a place that will benefit from other wealth and advantages of materials that inspire it. Anne Fontaine Spa boutique is the successful realisation of this thought process that started twenty years ago at the heart of Amazonia. Talent of an exceptional woman was required to realise this dream. "With Andrée Putman, it was evident. We are two women and both of us are creative and instinctive, states Anne. Andrée understood me and knew how to adapt my desires to reality by retranscribing all that well-being means to me at the same place."
Taking their cue from the natural materials uses for her shirts, the signature treatments available in the spa go by the names of cotton, silk and wild bamboo. This area with unique architecture and that is a real exercise in terms of style will be the emblematic showcase of the brand in Tokyo and New York.
