La Serra holistic centre
The La Serra holistic centre of Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria was inaugurated in July 2006. It is spread over an area of 150m2 where it receives clients of the hotel who wish to relax in a haven of peace in the heart of beautiful garden full of orange and olive trees. It is a unique and exclusive place in more than one way. "La Serra" centre was constructed in a XIXth century greenhouse furnished according to the principles of Feng-shui and offers a holistic approach that consists of treating the person as a whole rather than a specific problem. "We have decided to follow the principles of an environment-friendly architecture in order to minimise the impact on the environment, optimise the use of natural light and link this area to the surrounding garden," states Alessandro FIORENTINO, hotelier consultant and member of the family that owns the site. "We have made the choice of taking advantage of the available area and bringing out the specialities while setting-up equipments meant for offering exclusive services and characteristics to all our clients".
Construction of "La Serra" was handed over to an expert in the field : Graziana SANTAMARIA, famous and renowned expert in the field of bioenergetics architecture and geo-biophysics. She applied geo-bio environmental quality procedure (copyright) that she has created. Before starting to work on any project, Graziana carries out bio-energetic and geo-biological survey according to the geo-bio process (copyright) in order to verify the presence of natural elements that can cause energetic disturbances harmful for this type of place. These samples helped in finding that La Serra was located on foundations dating back to the Roman era and as a result, it would offer a very favourable energetic alchemy. In nature, all over the world one finds geo-dynamic vectors that can be considered as an energetic beam that envelops the earth. Nodes called "cancer points" are formed at the cross-overs of these networks. In the La Serra Holistic Centre, these nodes were rebalanced with the help of circuits placed beneath the flooring in order to offer all the elements necessary for optimum relaxation. "At the heart of our hotel, La Serra Holistic Centre is the place where our clients relax and enjoy a quality time in a very calm environment," highlights Alessandro, "This is the reason why we wanted to develop a place where everyone, clients and personnel, could feel at ease and enjoy the harmony of the space completely."
