Isabelle Nordmann, the creator, opened her first after the rain Spa in Geneva in March 2002. One of the first and most prestigious urban Spas in Continental Europe, the after the rain urban day Spa is the Swiss brand's flagship Spa. In 2006, Isabelle Nordmann decided to make available her savoir-faire to other spa operators, via a complete offer of tailor-made facial and body treatments, her product line of after the rain Spa prescriptions, and, finally, with the turnkey concept of the after the rain franchise. In 2009, after the rain numbers 80 spas around the world and is popular throughout Europe, Russia and Asia.
